BY AIR -

Alderney may only be 3.5 miles by 1.5 miles but it has its own airport with 3 operational runways. It was built in 1938 and was the first airport within the Channel Islands. There are several scheduled direct flights to Alderney. Aurigny Air Services run to and from Southampton and Guernsey. Blue Islands Airline run to and from Bournemouth, Brighton City, Guernsey and Jersey. Also many private aviators use the airport.

BY SEA -

FROM UK... Unfortunately there is no direct ferry link to Alderney from the UK. You can travel to Guernsey all year round from Weymouth, Poole or Portsmouth with Condor Ferries. Then you can travel on to Alderney by sea with Manche Iles Express during the summer months or by air using Blue Islands throughout the year.

FROM FRANCE... There is the high speed passenger Catamaran that runs between Dielette, 30 minutes drive from Cherbourg, and Alderney via Guernsey. This service runs from May to September and is run by Manche Iles Express.
